By Lisa Miller, President — Wholesale, Indirect and Alliances
A significant milestone in the history of both CenturyLink and Level 3 Communications was reached on November 1, 2017, as we became one company — the new CenturyLink. You and your customers now have access to a powerful global network combined with comprehensive services and technologies that are purpose-built to serve the connection needs of the networked world. Together, we are creating a machine for growth on a global scale.
The new CenturyLink offers network and data systems management, big data analytics, managed security services, hosting, cloud and IT consulting services. We provide broadband, voice, video, advanced data and managed network services over a newly expanded network — roughly 450,000 fiber route miles and 360,000 international transport miles. The combination makes a powerful statement toward enabling enterprise success.
What this combination also provides is the joining of two tremendous channel programs, both laser-focused on customer and partner experience. Our goal is to take the best of each and bring it all together into an industry-leading model, as we surround our partners with the support they need to help them grow their business. The opportunities ahead are exciting for all of us!
Level 3’s enterprise networking expertise and extensive global reach, paired with CenturyLink’s business and consumer networking experience and significant local presence — plus innovative solution offerings and talented people from both companies — creates a compelling choice for enterprise, government and wholesale customers globally, and consumers nationally.
As the digital transformation continues for businesses, CenturyLink is positioned and laser-focused on serving the needs of Enterprise customers. Your customers are important to us. We offer the full solution to leverage digital transformation, across Hybrid Connectivity, the Cloud Ecosystem, Security, and Real-Time Communications. The combined portfolio of services – SD-WAN, Voice, Cloud Connectivity, Security, Cellular Backup – allows us to connect people, protect networks, and provide a reliable experience anytime, virtually anywhere to our Partners and customers. Our newly combined organization leverages the collaborative expertise of our expanded team. We will provide real network and technology solutions for you and your customers to help accelerate your growth. Your success is at the core of everything we do!
It’s a very exciting new day for CenturyLink — and for you, our valued partners. I look forward to a very bright future together as we elevate our partnership. As we enter this new chapter, I’d like to thank you for putting your confidence in CenturyLink.
