Seal Beach Clean Up
Participating in our From the Heart initiative, the PlanetOne Irvine office did their part for the environment last weekend by volunteering for several hours of beach-cleaning duty with saveourbeach.org. Eric Cooke, his nine-year old son Cooper and Kristen Cunningham helped clean up Seal Beach, CA.
With 3.5 million tons of trash within the Pacific Ocean, 40 tons of debris that washes up on our beaches every year, and 260 species of sea life known to ingest non-biodegradable plastic materials, our beaches, oceans and sea life needs all the help we can give.
A local southern California organization founded 18 years ago, the organization’s mission is to educate individuals, companies, schools & organizations on how their environmental footprint impacts their community and the world by participating in Save Our Beach environmental field trips, beach & riverbed cleanups and team building activities.
