February 01, 2017 – Verizon announced that the acquisition of XO Communications has closed. The combined networks will create broader reach, drive acceleration of new technology development, and expand product portfolios.
Beginning now, XO Communications will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Verizon. Both companies will align to a “Business as Usual” approach; nothing about day-to-day relationships with Verizon and/or XO Communications changes. Points of contact remain the same, as do products and access to customer and technical support.
It is Verizon’s intent to combine partner programs in 2017 to create a singular, best-in-class program. Together, Verizon and XO are committed to making the integration as seamless as possible for the agent community.
